HALLOWEEN
Halloween is my favorite holiday. There's something about autumn that really brings out the spooky feeling, though the consumerism of "Pumpkin Spice" dragging out every stereotypical white girl with freezer IQs definitely stunts that a little bit. There's plenty to enjoy about the season though, especially Trick or Treating. It's always a treat. Halloween is especially interesting because it really only came into proper existence less than 150 years ago. Christmas has been around forever with generally the same idea. But Halloween really was an invention of modern times. My love for Halloween goes hand in hand with my love for Creatures of the Night, it's all horror, and I love being scared (except for on rollercoasters).
This page is really a blog set up so that's why I don't go into a lot of detail here, expect to come back and see plenty of blogging on this page over the year, especially as I prepare my Halloween costume.
