VIDEO GAMES! They're one of the most unique artforms in the entire world. I play them all, from ASCII graphics to the most modern (whatever my crap system can run) games with peak graphical fidelity. But I don't play them for their appearance, I play them for the game play. Some games I'll love so much they'll probably end up with their own pages, like Half-Life or Fallout (though post apocalypse gets kinda close to covering that). Of course, I don't play some games, I particularly have a disdain for anything that's meant to be a kinda idler thing, clickers, that kinda stuff, and also pretty much every mobile game.
While I love me a good physical board game or something like Dungeons and Dragons, I hold a special place in my heart for all the amazing video games that have come out. Some of my earliest memories are of playing Wii, and especially the Lego games in particular. I also grew up owning an NES, bought by my father. He would come home every christmas with a system he had bought at the local pawn or thrift store, rarely did I ever see new in box game systems. But I never cared, it was enough for me to play the Mario - Duck Hunt packaged NES game all the time. I specifically remember chasing my brother around the room with that zapper gun. Another one of my favorites was Rampage, and TMNT though I would never finish it. Later on I would end up getting a computer that was somewhat capable of actually playing games, my first paid for computer game was Half-Life 1. It was amazing. Ever since I've been infatuated with these things, and have always thought of making my own. Truly, Video Games are a powerful glue which holds many of us together.
